This wine is a blend of 3 blocks (A2, B12 and C1) all of which are planted to the highest quality 1654 clone, known for its lifted fruit. Each of the components were fermented cool, looking to preserve the spiciness of the fruit which balances beautifully with the dark berry characters typical of Sthe Syrah style. The wine was aged for 14 months in second and third use hogsheads (both French and American).
